Quartz Surfaces

Manufacturers have made great strides in offering unique interpretations that mimic the bold, dramatic look of exotic granites as well as defined marbled veins. These palettes of colors also have clean solid hues and other designs to compliment any décor. Quartz countertops are strong, durable and virtually maintenance free. They are #1 on Consumer Reports for kitchen countertops.

Solid Surfaces

In 1967 a DuPont chemist created a revolutionary new product comprised primarily of acrylic polymer under the brand name of Corian®. Since then numerous companies began marketing their own versions of Solid Surface with their own innovative design palettes. Solid Surface is available in hundreds of unique colors and random patterns some that mimic the look of natural stone. Some Solid Surface products offer designs that are not available with other type surfaces. Solid Surface still fits many needs both residential and commercial.

Natural Stones

The allure of natural stone is unique, engaging and ever changing, with no two slabs ever being exactly identical. Granite, Quartzite and Soapstone continue to be popular choices for kitchens. The composition of natural stone varies greatly and may have natural imperfection. Granite is porous and must have a sealer applied. We offer Sensa® Granite by Cosentino that comes pre-sealed with a 15 years stain warranty. Granites should be researched for color and quality. Job layout should be done for pattern placement. Granite will require some maintenance both cleaning and resealing.
